Her win caps a wild year where she rocketed from family member obscurity to the top of the graphes, many thanks to her vibrant, 80s-influenced brand name of synth-pop.
She was called champion by a panel of greater than 180 artists and experts, consisting of Sir Elton John, Dua Lipa and Sound of 2014 champion Sam Smith.
