2018 Toyota Thai Leagues Matchday 1 Fixtures

The press conference for upcoming Thai Leagues season took place today in Bangkok.

Ahead of the new season, the 2018 Toyota Thai Leagues Press Conference was held in Bangkok on 5th February, with players, coaches and managers from all 18 Thai Leagues clubs present to discuss their hopes and targets for the upcoming campaign.

The event was opened by the Football Association of Thailand President Pol. Gen. Somyot Poompanmoung, who stated his wish for the new season to deliver, the “Battle of the Warriors” football.

That was followed by an introduction to all of the representative players, interviews with those appearing in this year’s AFC Champions League and the coaches of the three teams promoted to Thai Leagues 1 for this season.

The new Toyota Thai Leagues season kicks of this week, with T1 getting underway on Friday 9th February, and excitement is building across Thailand as teams and fans complete their final preparations.

In support, all of 18 clubs in the Toyota Thai Leagues will receive revenue distribution from the Football Association of Thailand, 20 million THB per club, and plus 5 million THB from the FA Development Program.
