Chiangrai United Football Club
Chiangrai United Football Club (Thai สโมสรฟุตบอล เชียงราย ยูไนเต็ด) is a Thai professional football club based in Chiang Rai Province, a city located in the very northern part of Thailand. The club currently plays in Thai League 1.
Chiangrai United duly came out on top come the end of the regular league season, thus claiming their first ever championship and also crowned as the first ever winners of the Regional League Northern Division.
On winning the championship, Chiangrai United entered the 2009 Regional League Championships. An end of season mini-league for all 5 Regional League Division 2 championship winning teams and finished as runners-up and eventually promoted to Thai Division 1 League. In the next season the club finished as 3rd in Thai Division 1 League and promoted to Thai League T1 which will be the first time in the club history to participate in the top tier of Thai football.
In 2016, Chiangrai United made a deal with JARKEN group for the strengthen brand and marketing strategy, including business development, and strengthen management structures to promote a positive image of the Chiangrai United Sport Passions as a brand that make Chiangrai United become professionally and sustainably. The strategy for this deal is to design and promote to become a big name club in Thailand. In 2017 the club continued to sign deals with sponsors and the club. Chiangrai United signed players such as Tanaboon Kesarat and some expensive foreign players such as Vander Luiz, Felipe Azevedo and Rafael Coelho.

The Head coach of Chiangrai United is Alexandre Gama, Cesar Diniz Pereira Roque, Assistance Coach, Macos Cesar Domingues which is the Goalkeeping Coach and Anderson Nicolau who is the Fitness Coach at Chiangrai United. The chairman of Chiangrai United is Miti Tiyapairat.
Singha Stadium Chiangrai
Singha Stadium is a football stadium in Chiang Rai Province, Thailand. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Chiangrai United Football Club. The stadium holds 11,354 people. The Singha Stadium is near Mae Fah Luang International Airport. Visitors to Singha Stadium should also visit the many sightseeing spots Chiang Rai ahs to offer such as Wat Rong Khun, Wat Phra That Doi Chom Thong, Wat Phra Kaew and Wat Klong Wiang.
